In
collaboration with Roscoe's Thai Projects, the team
at Digital Alchemy have recently funded and helped
build a school and an orphanage in a Thai village
in the jungle near Chang Rai, an area of North Thailand.
Digital Alchemy provides ongoing funding for these
projects and is dedicated to giving this community
the opportunities they need to secure a brighter future.
Baan
Saan Rak Project
In March
2007 Baan Saan Rak orphanage was built, involving
a cement dormitory, able to accomodate 20 children.
The dormitory building replaced 3 bamboo grass huts
that the children lived in previously. There are 6
individual rooms with furniture for 4 children each.
There are toilets for boys and girls and they have
showers. Also a new food preparation area and new
playground equipment was built.

Ban
Maeter Project
In November
2006, at the Ban Maeter School we built a new classroom
building, consisting of 2 classrooms. The kitchen
was also torn down and rebuilt.
